Frequently Asked Questions
Â
What ages is The Playroom for?
The Playroom is designed with little ones in mind and is best suited for children approximately
6 months–6 years old, although older siblings are welcome to join in the fun!
Â
Do I need a reservation for drop-in play?
Nope! Reservations are not required. Just stop by during our regular drop-in hours and come play. You can also reserve your playtime ahead online if you prefer.
Â
How much is drop-in play?
Drop-in play is $10 per child for the first hour and $5 for each additional hour. Babies under 6 months are free when visiting with an older sibling.
Â
Do you offer memberships?
Yes! Memberships are $65/month for one child or $50 per child/month for families with two or more children. Membership includes unlimited play during regular hours.
Â
Do adults need to stay?
Yes. The Playroom is a parent/guardian-supervised play space, so an adult must remain with children during their visit.
Â
Can I bring food or drinks?
Yes! Families are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. We just ask that food stays in designated eating areas and that you help us keep our space clean for everyone.
Â
Do you host birthday parties?
We do! Our private parties give you The Playroom all to yourselves with space for up to 50 guests. You’re welcome to bring your own decorations, food, cake, and party supplies.
Â
Can I book The Playroom for something other than a birthday party?
Absolutely! We love finding new ways to use our space. We can accommodate private playdates, field trips, classes, special events, and more. Have something different in mind? Reach out—we’re happy to see what we can make work!
Â
Do you offer field trips?
Yes! We welcome preschools, childcare programs, homeschool groups, and other organizations for field trips and group play. Contact us and we can work together to plan your visit.
Â
Can I host a class or event at The Playroom?
Possibly! We love partnering with local businesses, instructors, and community organizations to bring new experiences to families. If you have an idea for a class, activity, event, or collaboration, we’d love to hear it.
Â
Do you offer business partnerships or sponsorships?
Yes! We’re always open to creative ways to partner with local businesses and organizations. Reach out to us to talk about sponsorships, collaborations, events, or other ideas.
Â
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes made for playing are best! Socks are recommended, and clothes that allow children to climb, crawl, move, and explore will make for the most comfortable visit.
Â
What if my child has different developmental or sensory needs?
We want The Playroom to be a welcoming space for children with different abilities, needs, and play styles. Our space includes opportunities for imaginative, sensory, and gross-motor play. Feel free to contact us before your visit if there’s anything we can do to help make your experience more comfortable.
Â

What are The Playroom rules?
We want everyone to have a safe and fun visit! Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Please encourage kind play, take turns with popular equipment, and use toys and equipment as intended.
